Bushnell Phantom vs Neo Ghost: Differences between Bushnell Phantom and Neo Ghost
The first difference between the Bushnell Phantom and Neo Ghost is that only the Phantom has a BITE Magnetic Mount for attachment to any metal surface. Attaching the Neo Ghost to your golf cart will require the purchase of a golf cart holder. Also the Bushnell Phantom has Bluetooth capabilities for wireless course updates while the Neo Ghost only has updates via a USB cord and computer. The purchase of a Bushnell Phantom will also include the Bushnell Golf application that will give you close-up views of each hole with front/center/back and hazard distances and overhead views of each hole layout with front/center/back distances. Besides these differences, both Bushnell Phantom and Neo Ghost have exactly the same features including the same display size (1.38″ x 1.38″), front/center/back and hazard distances and shot distance measurement. Neither the Bushnell Phantom or Neo Ghost come with a scorecard or stat tracking.

Reasons to purchase the Garmin Approach G10
The Garmin Approach G10 is the best affordable handheld golf GPS device that does not come with the color course maps, touch targeting and larger displays found in the more expensive Garmin handheld models (G8, G7, G6, G30). It comes with many features not found in the Golf Buddy Voice 2, Bushnell Neo Ghost and Bushnell Phantom (improved version of the Bushnell Neo Ghost released in 2018) including comprehensive layup & carry distances to hazards, layup and dogleg distances for par 4 and 5 holes, stat tracking and a digital scorecard feature. The Garmin G10 is the smallest handheld golf GPS that Garmin has ever made (the longest part is only 2 inches long which means it is smaller than the palm of your hand) and some people have complained that it is really easy to lose because of its’ diminutive size. If you want a bigger GPS that has a big, clear, easier to read screen, then you should get the Bushnell Phantom instead.
Garmin G10 Hazard InformationLearn MoreYardages – Displays distances to the front, back and middle of the green as well as yardages to hazards, doglegs and layups. The distances are almost as accurate as the distances from a Bushnell golf rangefinder.
Hazard Distances – Gives the user much better hazard information than the Golf Buddy Voice 2 and Bushnell Neo Ghost. Accurately shows layup & carry distances for sand traps (bunkers), water hazards and out of bounds or other hazards. Displays the distances to the front and back of the nearest hazard along the fairway for par 4 and 5 holes. You can use the up or down button to view the other hazards for the current hole.
Accurate layup and dogleg distances for par 4 and 5 holes – Layup distances to the pin are given for the 250, 200, 150 and 100 yard markers. Layup and Dogleg distances appear on the left on the screen and the distances required to reach each layup or dogleg appears on the right.
Shot Distance Measurement – You will be able to measure how far your driver, or irons go. With this technology you can accurately determine who got the long drive in your group.
Automatic course and hole recognition
Green View – Displays the true shape and layout of green and you can manually place the pin for more accurate yardage
Stat Tracking – Keeps Track Of Fairways Hit, Greens In Regulation And Putts Per Round
Digital scorecard feature – Allows you to keep track of your score hole-by-hole
Garmin Approach G10 vs Bushnell Phantom vs Neo Ghost: Differences between Garmin Approach G10, Bushnell Phantom and Neo Ghost
There are many differences between the Garmin Approach G10, Bushnell Phantom and Neo Ghost. The Garmin G10 gives the user much better hazard information about more hazards than the Bushnell Phantom and Neo Ghost do. Only the G10 will display layup and dogleg distances for par 4 and 5 holes, the true shape and layout of green and also includes stat tracking and a digital scorecard feature. Both the Bushnell Phantom and Neo Ghost will not display the true shape and layout of green and will display hazard distances for only 4 hazards per hole.
